Name board restoration


In December 2021 we removed all the name boards.  The teak had originally been varnished but this had long since worn off and the teak was grey and deeply worn. The stainless steel lettering was also tarnished and needed some TLC. This sounded like a project to keep us occupied (at least for a little while) over Christmas. We suspect there might have been some speculation in Plymouth Yacht Haven that we were going to rename Lazaway, but fear not, we just want to make her look her best.

At the end of January 2022 we were back in Plymouth and could put the boards back into place, and we’re fairly happy with the result.
